At Herefordshire Wildlife Trust, our vision is for a county that is bursting at the seams with wonderful wildlife and our mission is to put nature into recovery, but we cannot do it alone. We are passionate about supporting businesses to become more environmentally sustainable and to create nature-friendly work spaces and environments that inspire your staff, visitors and customers to take action for nature themselves. Through collaboration, together we can play a vital part in preserving Herefordshire's precious natural heritage.

Record Wildlife sightings at your workplace

Wildlife is all around us! By recording the different sightings on our Nature Counts website, you are helping us to keep track of how wildlife is doing across the county. This helps us to make better, more evidence based conservation choices on our nature reserves and beyond.

Why not put a notebook or whiteboard in your staff room or communal area and encourage everyone to record what they see.

Go a step further and get a bird table or plant some pollinator friendly flowers and see how many more of our winged friends you can attract!

Take part in 30 Days Wild

30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual nature challenge where we ask the nation to do one 'wild' thing a day every day throughout June.

Your daily wild activities can be anything you like - you might be having breakfast with the birds on Monday, feeling the grass between your toes on Tuesday, and watching wildlife webcams on Wednesday. There’s no set structure, so you can take part in a way that suits you. Alongside benefiting your local wildlife, taking part in 30 Days Wild is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier, and more connected to nature.

To find out more about 30 Days Wild and to be the first to receive your pack, email Josie,  j.croft@herefordshirewt.co.uk with the subject 30 Days Wild
