Volunteering

Volunteering with us

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust has an array of opportunities for volunteers to donate their skills and time and help us in our mission towards creating a Herefordshire richer and more diverse in wildlife.

Whether you are interested in conservation, wildlife monitoring, working with families and young people, re-connecting with nature or retail we would love to hear from you.

I have been a volunteer at the Wildlife Trust for ten years. I really enjoy the time I spend volunteering. I volunteer for the the reserves team and normally do at least two days a week.
I have learnt many new skills and have acquired a good knowledge of conservation and how it all works. The reserves officers are very friendly and helpful.
I have also built up a group of really good friends, we have a great laugh and some very good conversations.
Not only is it fun and you are learning new skills but you are doing something that improves the environment and biodiversity and it leaves you with a great sense of satisfaction.
