Volunteers will be supporting HWT and other volunteers to improve the condition of local Hereford brooks.

To support HWT staff in recording habitat condition and species along Hereford city brooks, as well as long-term monitoring post project delivery.

You will play an important role in gathering, verifying, and documenting historical information that complements the oral history interviews. You will support the project by researching local people, places, organisations, and events, helping to provide historical context.

As a Volunteer Oral Historian, you will play a key role in collecting and preserving personal stories from members of the community about the waterways and wetlands of Hereford.

As a volunteer branch team member you will help the Team Leader to plan, organise and promote events and talks throughout the area and promote the work of HWT in your local area.
