Work Experience 2026!

Work Experience 2026

We understand how important it is for young people to get work experience as they prepare for college, university and employment. Working for a Wildlife Trust offers variety and fulfilment, with many different roles from those on the ground delivering conservation and nature restoration projects to those behind the scenes in marketing and finance. Every role supports our vision, a wilder Herefordshire: More nature everywhere.

For 14 - 18 year olds

We have six places available in the week 15th-21st June 2026. Please complete the online form for a chance to participate. The deadline for applications is 31st January, and if successful you will be invited to attend a 20 minute online informal interview where you will have the opportunity to further share why you want to take part and ask any questions. You will hear from us whether you have reached this stage by 6th February. Good luck!

Please tell us why you wish to attend our work experience programme. This is your chance to tell us about your qualities, what you hope to get out of the week and why we should select you. We’d love to hear what motivated you to choose Herefordshire Wildlife Trust for your work experience placement. (max 500 words)

Do you have any mobility/health issues we should be aware of?

If yes, please provide details

Is there anything else that would be helpful for us to know?
