Do you have practical skills you can share with our nature-loving community?

Be the catalyst for change in your community by leading one of our empowering workshops from our 'Take Action for Nature' series. Share your passion for wildlife and join the collective effort in preserving and enhancing our natural world. These workshops can be anything from 1-3 hours and on-line or in-person at a venue to suit you.

We are looking for volunteers to help us lead a series of low-cost workshops to try and reach as many people as possible. There will be a small cost for attendees to cover costs for the Trust. We are open to your creative vision but here are some ideas:

  • Construct avian havens with our "Bird Box Making" workshop, fostering a welcoming space for our feathered friends.
  • Embrace the night with "Bat Box Crafting," as we guide you in creating shelters for these nocturnal wonders, contributing to bat conservation efforts.
  • Explore sustainable living with our "Permaculture Primer," a hands-on workshop delving into regenerative agricultural practices.
  • Become a wildlife detective in our "Wildlife Survey Techniques" workshop, honing your skills to monitor and protect local flora and fauna.
  • Transform your space into a haven for biodiversity with "Creating Wildlife Areas," learning the art of cultivating habitats that support diverse ecosystems.
  • Cultivate a green thumb with "Wildlife-Friendly Gardening Workshops," where we share tips and tricks to foster a garden teeming with life.
  • Dive into river conservation with "River Action Movement," where we explore initiatives and practical steps to protect and enhance our waterways.
  • Immerse yourself in fascinating wildlife narratives with "Wildlife Themed Talks," featuring engaging discussions on biodiversity and conservation.
  • Be an advocate for nature with "Promoting Wildlife-Friendly Areas," discovering effective ways to encourage wildlife conservation in your local environment.
  • Inspire the next generation with "Getting Young People Involved," a workshop designed to engage and educate youth on the importance of wildlife preservation.
  • Unlock the secrets of "Identifying Ancient Hedges," exploring their significance and learning sustainable management practices for these historical natural wonders.
  • Foster community spirit with "Community Growing Space," where we guide you in creating shared green spaces that nurture both plants and a sense of togetherness.
  • Reimagine your roadside with "Creating Grass Verges for Wildlife," transforming neglected spaces into vibrant habitats for local fauna.
