Generation Nature for 16 - 25 year olds
We want to support young people to connect with, take action for and be emboldened to speak up for nature. In the summer of 2024 we spoke to 104 young people across Herefordshire and asked them how we could better represent them and support their involvement in our work. They were clear in what they wanted:
- to gain new skills and knowledge to help with their futures
- a variety of experiences they can try
- to reduce stress and anxiety and feel more hopeful
- to increase self-confidence and self- esteem
- to see more inclusivity and better representation of young people
- to have opportunities to share what they know, especially relating to digital technologies
We are working to create opportunities to reflect what we heard.
