The task for the day will be to coppice some willow and hazel stools to allow more light into the scruby common of cannon tump, we will use the material to create a dead hedge around the perimeter of the area we are working in to protect the coppice stumps from grazing pressure from deer. There is also a few gates to replace and fix.
