Holywell Dingle, Eardisley, Herefordshire, HR3 6BU The task for the day will be the cut out the Laurel that is growing with the reserve. This is an unwanted species with the woodland, that shades out smaller trees trying to grow and also changes the soil composition to more acidic. This will be cut with hand tools and then burned on a small bonfire. Please note that the area we are working on has some steep slopes and has lots of bramble, so thick trousers are advised.
