Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum
Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum is Herefordshire Wildlife Trust's most visited nature reserve and is the green heart of Herefordshire.
A fantastic site for visitors of all ages to explore the great outdoors, Queenswood is also home to a nationally important arboretum and acres of semi-natural ancient woodland which are designated as Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
Facilities at Queenswood include pay-before-you-leave parking and toilets, our Woodland Café, visitor centre and gift shop, waymarked trails, a viewpoint, playground and our much-loved Gruffalo sculpture trail.

Bikes and scooters at Queenswood
Queenswood warmly welcomes young children aged 7 and under to explore the arboretum on bicycles and scooters with a height of up to 75cm from floor to handlebars.
For everyone's safety and enjoyment please follow the guidance below.
- Walk wheels in busy areas, including the car parks, around the buildings and picnic area.
- Store bikes and scooters safely, outside the playground and visitor buildings, to avoid them becoming a trip hazard.
- Supervise children at all times and encourage them to slow down or walk in busy areas.
- Only manual bikes and scooters are allowed, all other recreational wheels and electric vehicles are not permitted.
