About the event

Join us for a discovery walk at The Doward where we will walk through a number of our nature reserves led by expert volunteer walk leader Nic Howes. As we make our way from Lord's Wood Quarry car park to King Arthur's cave and beyond, Nic will tell us about the fascinating geology of the area. We will also be walking through Woodside, Miners Rest and White Rocks nature reserves.

Please note the road to Lord's Wood Quarry is narrow and winding - please allow extra time to get to the start point.

Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather, including waterproofs, sun cream hats as necessary and sturdy footwear.

please bring water to drink and snacks if you wish. We will take a break at the mid way point.
