About the event

Tony Higgins, Trustee for Land Management for Hereford & Gloucester Canal Trust and City Branch committee member, will lead a walk around the Hereford end of the Hereford-Gloucester canal, starting at 6 pm at the slipway in Aylestone Park where there is ample parking. 

The walk will follow the line of the canal into Hereford city as closely as we can get, across Old School Lane via Wiggin Special Metals and onto Burcott road, then to the link road where the canal once ended, and finally up Aylestone Hill and back through Churchill Gardens to Aylestone Park. 

Approximately 4 miles, this will be an approx. 2-hour walk.
