We are looking for Volunteers to help Park Ranger Rosie at weekly roving conservation work parties at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum, Bodenham Lakes and Oak Tree Farm

What you will be doing

This volunteering opportunity will be with the Park Ranger Rosie, carrying out a wide range of practical volunteering  tasks weekly that include clearing brash, coppicing woodland, installing infrastructure, carrying out invasive species control, surveying and monitoring of species, caring for specimen trees, and maintaining machinery and equipment. 

There are no set tasks or duties with this opportunity - you'll be getting involved as directed by the Park Ranger with priority conservation tasks and day-to-day activities.

The skills you need:No experience is required although if you have a first aid qualification and/or chainsaw crosscutting and maintenance ticket that would be a great help.
