About the event

This event, an outcome of the CPRE Dark Skies project, aims to increase awareness of the negative effects of light pollution on people and wildlife. Our speaker will explain the forms of light pollution and what can be done to reduce them.  Reducing light pollution doesn’t just reveal the stars – it helps protect nocturnal wildlife, supports biodiversity, and improves the health and wellbeing of both people and nature. It also contributes to more sustainable, low-energy communities.
