About the event

Join us for some family fun at Bartonsham Meadows during the summer holidays.

At this event we'll be finding out more about the minibeasts who live on the meadows. You'll be able to use nets and pots to catch and identify all sorts of creatures such as beetles, grasshoppers and spiders and then make some bug related crafts.

We'll also be taking part in the Big Butterfly Count, where you'll get a chance to record all the butterflies you see in 15 minutes. This can then be submitted to Butterfly Conservation to help monitor the number of butterflies across the UK.
