Role Overview: As a Cafe Volunteer at Queenswood Country Park, you will play a vital role in supporting the operation of our bustling cafe by baking cakes or making soup to be sold to our visitors. You will have the opportunity to utilise your cooking skills while contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our park.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bake cakes or prepare soup using either a set recipe or one that you create, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and protocols, including obtaining Food Safety Level 2 certification.
• Utilise the Cafe kitchen facilities and equipment provided for food preparation.
• Wear provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure smooth operations in the cafe.
• Attend training sessions on equipment usage and follow provided recipes and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Passion for cooking and baking, with prior experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain Food Safety Level 2 certification (training will be provided).
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and hygiene practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
