About the event

"We will be meeting up at Wessington for the last Woolhope volunteer party of 2025 and I have saved the best to last.

Yes, it’s the annual restoration of the water channel into the pond… whoop whoop,  I hear you cry in unison.

Unless, in the unlikely event,  of a huge freeze and the ground becoming solid we should be able to get this perhaps unexciting but totes important job done.

It diverts more water into the pond and stops it flooding over the main track which would then become almost impassable.

There is a threat of me making mince pies to my usual high culinary standard , so don’t forget your false teeth!"
