Yolande Watson is Executive member of CPRE Herefordshire and leads its Dark Skies Herefordshire project.
Yolande will outline why natural darkness is so important to all living things - including humans. She will cover the evolution of light, why we need natural darkness, the impact of artificial light on biodiversity and the need for responsible outdoor lighting at night.
There will be an opportunity to discuss light pollution issues and ask Yolande questions about Dark Skies Herefordshire project.
