Communications & Fundraising Team

Communications & FundraisingTeam

As a membership organisation, we believe that keeping our members and supporters informed about our work is hugely important. We want to let you know about all our latest news and offer opportunities for you to get as involved as you want to – whether that’s signing a petition, attending an event or volunteering with a local project. We also work hard to increase our membership – the more members we have, the greater our voice!

Our team is also responsible for generating income to support our conservation and engagement work through grants, individual giving, corporate relationships and other fundraising activities.

We also fundraise through our two charity shops in Ledbury and Hereford, our gift shop at Queenswood Country Park Visitor Centre and our online shop.

Membership Recruiter - Nia Morris

Nia Morris, Membership Recruiter

I have always loved the outdoors and being in nature, so when the opportunity arose to be a fundraiser for my local Wildlife Trust I jumped at the chance. It’s not a revelation to anyone that the natural world is currently suffering a terrible decline in health however not all is doom and gloom. We are all in a position to help and part of my job is to get out there and meet people from all walks of life and inspire them to help and support the wildlife in their local wildlife trust. By encouraging people to explore the beautiful nature reserves we have in our local area, people can see for themselves what beauty is out there and why it’s vital that we all act together to make sure we don’t lose it forever.

Our membership recruiters are employed by South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (SWWFL) who are owned by, and work on behalf of, Wildlife Trusts in Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire,
Gwent, Hampshire & Isle of Wight, Herefordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
