Work Experience 2026
We understand how important it is for young people to get work experience as they prepare for college, university and employment. Working for a Wildlife Trust offers variety and fulfilment, with many different roles from those on the ground delivering conservation and nature restoration projects to those behind the scenes in marketing and finance. Every role supports our vision, a wilder Herefordshire: More nature everywhere.
For 14 - 18 year olds
We have filled all our work experience places for summer 2026 but if you would like to volunteer on weekends or in the holidays, please get in touch and we'll let you know what opportunities there are.
For 18 -25 year olds
If you are 18 – 25 and would like to gain some work experience, then you can sign up as a volunteer and current opportunities will be shared with you.
