New Wildlife Watch group planned for Ledbury

New Wildlife Watch group planned for Ledbury

Monthly wildlife group for children aged 7 to 14 to begin in Ledbury.

Do you know a child who loves nature? Are they wild about wildlife? Potty about plants? Or perhaps they just love being outdoors? They may have already love animal tracking, bird watching or pond dipping. Or perhaps they are involved with projects locally or at school – anything from litter picking to wildlife recording. Or perhaps they are looking for that opportunity to get involved?

Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is starting a new Wildlife Watch group based in Ledbury for 7-14 year olds. We plan to meet once a month to explore and work together in and around Ledbury. The group is open to existing and new Wildlife Watch members which costs from £2 per month but attending the groups is then free.

Wildlife Watch is here for kids that can't get enough of exploring the great outdoors or those desperate to find out a bit more about the weird and wonderful creatures we share our world with. It's part of The Wildlife Trusts, who look after lots of awesome places for wildlife and run hundreds of events each year in the UK.

Get Involved

We would like create a Ledbury group based on the input of the children and families in Ledbury so if this may be of interest and you would like to find out more please email Caroline Braid at c.braid@herefordshirewt.co.uk
