About the event

The beautiful county of Herefordshire in The Welsh Marches often gets overlooked for the national significance and distinctiveness of it’s wonderful wildlife. 

In this lecture/presentation, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust’s Nature Recovery Officer Toby Fountain, a locally prolific naturalist who has lived in Herefordshire for most of his life, will explore the core reasons why Herefordshire’s wildlife is special and unique, exploring both the natural and human influences which are the defining influences on the character of the county’s wildlife, our locally distinctive habitats and species, as well as defining Herefordshire’s significance in comparison with the rest of the UK.
