About the event
Nic Howes - Volunteer Walk Leader will guide us through Queenswood to the viewpoint, and then down into South Wood where we can view the coppicing work being carried out to manage the woodland. We will then continue on to Burghope Quarry and its outcrop of the unusual Bishops Frome Limestone before returning to the start point
Meet outside the visitor's Centre at 09.45AM with the walk starting at 10.00AM
Distance 2 miles, with some steep, potentially muddy ascents and descents. Please where clothing appropriate for the weather , raincoats and sturdy footwear. Bring water and a snack if you would like to.
