About the event

The hedgerows here are full of fascinating shapes and textures and with charcoal, ink, pastels and more we will work together to create a large-scale collage of our hedgerow experiences.

Come along for the whole day or drop in for as long as you wish, activities will be taking place from 11am to 4pm. Allow yourself time to explore this very special place and learn new skills to enhance your connection with nature. All materials provided ~ activities will take place both in the visitors centre and out in the field.

Tea and coffee available, bring warm clothes, wellies and food.

This event is free but donations are welcome to cover refreshments and art materials and to help the Wildlife Trust care for this special nature reserve.

Birches Farm boasts a stunning array of wild flowers across a patchwork of fields. The meadows and pastures are bordered by thick hedgerows and there are two ponds. The reserve is a nationally significant site and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
