About the event

This walk, led by Herefordshire Wildlife Trust Volunteer Wardens, is a great opportunity to learn more about our Woolhope Dome Nature Reserves. Species to look out include: buzzard, red kite, common blue , marbled white and wood white butterflies, common spotted orchids, adder's tongue fern and birds foot trefoil, cinnabar moth and we'll also spot historic lime kilns.

The walk is mostly on unsurfaced footpaths and is unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

What to bring

Sturdy footwear, a drink, weather appropriate clothing and sun cream/a hat if necessary. There will be a lunch stop so please bring your own lunch.

There is a small car park at Wessington where the walk begins and ends
