About the event

Gathering  up leaves, cones, twigs and other bits of tree from the woodland floor as we go, these will become our subject for charcoal drawing.  Working at a scale much bigger than life size, we will use charcoal to find ways to convey the shapes and textures of our forest treasures.  Rubbings have been ruled out as part of this, as it is very difficult in damp conditions and better to get people touching with their own hands.

Suitable for beginners in charcoal drawing and those with some experience - a great way of getting into experimental drawing.

The walk will not be energetic but paths in the woodland can be steep and muddy.
