Coronavirus - our response

Our Nature Reserves

  • We are not encouraging people to visit Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum as this site quickly gets busy and social distancing is difficult. All facilities at this site are closed for the time being.
  • Our smaller reserves remain open but we do not recommend that you travel to visit them. If you live close to a reserve and walk through as part of your daily exercise, please continue to do so. Most of our reserves have space for one or two cars to park at their entrances. If you see multiple cars we suggest you do not visit. As per Government advice, please visit only with members of your household and please maintain social distancing of at least two metres with any other person you meet. Avoid touching gates or stiles on your visit. All hides on reserves are closed.
  • Government advice on visiting green spaces can be found here:

All our events and activities have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future. Anyone who has booked onto a specific event will be notified directly. We will keep our website up to date so please check here for the latest updates or, for events at Queenswood, go to

All volunteering - whether out on our Nature Reserves or at out offices - has ceased until further notice.

Our staff remain at work, from home, though some have reduced or annualised their hours. To get in touch with a member of staff, please email and your message will be passed on.

Thank you to you all for your continued support. Please do get in touch with any queries at:

We'll still be working for wildlife - even if we're working from home  - and, as always, we'd love to hear about the wildlife you're seeing near you. Please do share your pictures, sightings and anecdotes as spring gets underway and we'll stay in touch with our regular newsletters!
