About the event

Maggie will guide you to create your own poems based on the trees of Queenswood Country Park. Have fun playing with words and images and come away with poems to share.

Suitable for adults (beginners and improvers)

  • No previous writing experience is necessary
  • You will not be expected to read out your poems (though you can if you would like to)
  • A range of poetic writing techniques offered to play with
  • Short writing exercises to spark ideas
  • Take inspiration from the exhibition
  • All materials provided (pens & paper)
