Woodland Products & Firewood

We sell firewood as a by-product from our coppicing, thinning and sustainable woodland management practices at Queenswood Country Park and our other nature reserves. All funds raised from sales of firewood support our conservation work.

Our firewood tends to be  a mixture of birch, ash,  chestnut, oak and hazel. The logs have been seasoned for 12 months and are then barn dried. Moisture content levels are checked and recorded to ensure they are ready to burn.

Prices

• Small net bag: £6
• Boot bag: £17 (boot bag included in the price)
• Boot bag refill £14 (bring your bag with you)

Please note that the prices below do not include the boot bags which are used for measurement only.

• Small car boot £38.00 (3 bags)
• Large car boot £60.00 (5 bags)
• Estate car boot  £74.00 (6 bags)

When you arrive, please come to the Visitor Centre to pay for your wood before collection.

We have well rotted woodchip for sale! Great for water retention, weed suppression and pleasing to the eye.

• Boot bag refill (bring your bag with you): £5
• Bucket/scoop (500l/0.5 cubic metres): £20
