Jamie Audsley, Chief Executive Officer

Jamie joined the Trust as CEO in August 2022. He moved from a leading role with the RSPB where he led the organisation’s Future Nature Team, established to tackle the systemic drivers of nature loss rooted in our economy. His career has focused on environmental and social transformation: first as a teacher and community organiser; working at a management level in business, experience in local government and then on to more recent leadership roles as Head of Education and Community Organising at ShareAction and Director of Programmes at Clore Social Leadership. Jamie says: “I grew up with the experience of being deeply connected to nature and I’m excited to be involved in helping to create a wilder Herefordshire where nature and people thrive together. I’m looking forward to contributing to the county and ensuring Herefordshire Wildlife Trust is a leading force in bringing about the change that can deliver our ambitions.”
