Communications Officer

Part-time* – 18.5 hours per week - negotiable 
£22,829 per annum pro rata (pensionable)
Permanent contract  

Herefordshire Nature Trust, the leading wildlife charity in Herefordshire, is seeking to employ a dynamic and innovative Communications Officer to play a key role in defining and projecting its new personality and brand.

This is an exciting new post, and we are looking for someone with drive, flair and ambition, as well as competency to support the Trust in our next phase of organisational evolution, whilst growing this role in the process.

Working with the teams within the Trust, you will be establishing and leading on the production and implementation of all internal and external communication components, both physical and virtual, for the Trust. 

The ideal applicant will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject directly related to this post, demonstrable experience of working with the media and the charitable sector, a sound knowledge of graphic design packages and ITC applications, and experience in editing written copy.

A valid driving licence is required.
