£35,000 per annum (pensionable)
We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic and innovative Development Director to lead our newly formed Development Team. This team is key to the success of our anticipated growth and is responsible for raising income via membership and other sources and increasing the Trusts profile.
The successful applicant will lead on all aspects of the Trust’s development programme, working to increase, strengthen, and diversify the Trust’s profile, membership, and income. Responsibilities will include building a strong and well-known organisational identity, proactively increasing and maintaining our membership and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Development Team.
The ideal applicant will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a subject directly related to the remit of this post, and/or significant and demonstrable experience of working in a similar position. You will be a proven leader with exceptional interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact and enthuse people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Due to the nature of this role a full driving licence and a flexible approach to work is essential. This may include some weekend and evening work.
