Supporting Herefordshire Nature Trust
Herefordshire Nature Trust needs your support to help local wildlife and the places where they live. As a charity, we rely on the voluntary support of a great many individual people.
We can't do it without you
There are many ways you can help - you could buy something, make a donation or help us as a volunteer. The list below outlines the most common ways people want to support us - just pick whatever suits you.
If you're not a member already, why not think about joining us? Membership fees fund vital conservation work, and it brings you some great benefits, such as our own local magazine, Wildside, and the national magazine of the Wildlife Trusts, Natural World, both packed with information and fantastic pictures. What's more, by becoming a member, you help show the decision-makers how many people support the conservation of wildlife and their habitats. Most members aren't 'wildlife experts' - we're ordinary people united by a desire to see wildlife flourish in their natural habitats.

However you choose to help, you know you'll be making a real difference - we just couldn't do this without you.
Making Herefordshire a place rich in wildlife
We've all seen astonishing changes in our daily lives, and our wildlife is struggling to keep their place in this fast-changing world. The Trust works across the whole of Herefordshire, developing practical conservation solutions that puts local wildlife back into the picture and safeguards their futures.
With the support of our members and a caring public, the Trust is tackling wildlife decline head on. For example, we:
- own and manage over 50 nature
reserves in Herefordshire, where you can see all
sorts of wildlife, getting
on with their everyday lives
- work with farmers, communities, businesses and
government to put the needs of wildlife
firmly into the debate
and to influence decisions and actions
- carry out essential research so that we fully
understand why wildlife - like the
dormouse - and the places
where they live are declining, and
how we can help bring
back from the brink
- increase awareness and understanding of wildlife among children and adults to help them become today's, and tomorrow's, wildlife champions
It's support from people like you that has made all this possible.
So please take the time to look at the different ways that you can help, and join more than a 2,500 people supporting the Trust to make Herefordshire a better place for wildlife and people.

Everyclick is a great search engine that works just like Yahoo, Google or MSN but also generates money for charity. It won’t cost you or us a penny, so it is a great way to help us every day whether you are at home or at work.
